EU elections results watch party

We would love to welcome you all on the 9th of June, from 5 p.m. at Badehaus (RAW-Gelände, 10245 Berlin) to our EU elections watch party!

The evening is organized by OstAllianz in cooperation with Badehaus, Freie Ungarische Botschaft, Polnischer Sozialrat and Diaspora Civică Berlin.

Programme:

  • 5 p.m.: Doors open
  • 6 p.m.: Panel discussion on the current domestic politics of Poland, Hungary and Romania; the relevance of the EU elections; and the impact of the rise of the far right in Europe. The discussion will be held in English, with political experts and activists from all three countries
  • From 7:30 p.m.: Romanian and Hungarian DJs will bring you local electronic beats and great atmosphere until dawn.

The election results will be broadcast in four languages (German, Polish, Hungarian, Romanian) so that everyone can follow the events in their own country. We will provide local delicacies as well.

In the meantime, don’t forget that all EU citizens have an important role to play in deciding our future. So, get out there, vote, and encourage everyone you know to do so too. Let’s work together for a democratic and united Europe!

The event will be held in a spirit of solidarity and inclusion, with zero tolerance for racism, sexism, homophobia, or any other form of discrimination. The organizers of the event distance themselves from any political alignment and represent themselves as independent NGOs.
